Naturbrush replacement brush heads make it easy to be able to reuse your toothbrush handle.
These heads are only compatible with Naturbrush Adult Headless Bamboo Toothbrushes
Note: This toothbrush contains a small amount of plastic. We have decided to sell it because we believe that it is the best vegan alternative to 100% plastic toothbrushes.
By far most plastic toothbrushes are neither biodegradable nor recyclable as they are made up of various different types of plastic. That along with the fact that they are small and often fall between the cracks means they are hard to recycle.
You can find all the information about this toothbrush on it’s product page Naturbrush Headless Adult Bamboo Toothbrush.
It is recommended you only detach the head from the handle when you are replacing the brush head with a new one.
Keep in a dry place. Best not to keep you toothbrush in a cup on the edge of your sink where water can accumulate at the bottom.
You can clean the bristles by putting your toothbrush in boiling water every now and then or simply running the head under the tap and rinsing them clean.
To recycle your used brush at the end of its life, first you must remove the nylon bristles with a pair of tweezers or pliers. The bristles are attached to the brush head using metal staples. Give the bristles a good pull and the staples should come out fairly easily. Once you have the bristles and staples separated you can dispose of the parts correctly. The bamboo handle is compostable and will break down over the next 6 months or so. Both the nylon-6 bristles and the metal staples can be recycled. Please get in contact with your local recycling service to find out if they can go straight in your local recycling bin or whether you are best to take them directly to your recycling depot.
