TIPS FOR GOOD DRY BRUSHING:

  • It is best done in the morning, just after waking up, on dry skin.
  • However, dry brushing just before going to bed helps you sleep through the night and fall asleep faster.
  • Do not brush too hard or for too long. Brush gently and don't push yourself to the point of irritating your skin.
  • Make sure your skin is dry and that you don't have any products or lotions on it.
  • Start on the soles of your feet and work your way up your legs, using circular motions in the direction of your heart. For the abdomen, use counterclockwise circular motions.
  • Gently brush the breasts and stay away from the nipples.
  • Ideally, brushing should last two to five minutes each day. Be patient, in a few weeks you will see how your skin has transformed.
  • It is not an instant remedy, as it needs at least 3 to 6 months of regular brushing to see excellent results. If you want, from time to time, throw a handful of sea salt on the brush, so you increase this kind of dry exfoliation.
  • When you're done, take a shower to remove all the dead skin.
  • After you get out of the shower, dry your skin and massage it with natural skin oils and creams.

It should also be avoided by those who suffer from inflammatory circulatory problems, such as phlebitis or varicose veins.
